How To Turn Off Voiceover On Samsung Tv?

Having an audible voice-over during commercials, or while listening to music is annoying to most people. It’s like having someone talk all the time in a movie!

Fortunately, you can easily turn off voiceovers for individual apps on your smartphone or TV. You don’t have to worry about them while watching a show, either — just turn them off once and they stay that way until you switch back to the app.

This article will tell you how to do it for both Android and iOS, as well as which apps usually feature this annoying feature.

Find the voiceovers settings

In the Settings app, find Audio – Speech Recognition under Technology. Here you’ll see whether or not your device has built-in speech recognition. If it does, you can turn this feature on by changing the Use for from Listening For Commands To Speaking To You to Default.

Alternatively, look in the Applications section of the Settings app under System Tools where you will find the Amazon Alexa application. By removing this app, you can totally disable voice commands through the web interface as well as via their mobile apps.

You can also opt out of having videos with subtitles automatically turned on. This is very helpful if you are sensitive to strong language or have little knowledge of a language.

Toggle the voiceovers off

While some people enjoy listening to an audiobook or music while they are working, other people find it annoying. If you feel this is the case for your TV show, there is a way to turn off the voiceovers!

You can toggle these features off at any time by going into Settings -> System -> Audio/Video settings. Then, under Interface, look to make sure Speech Output is On and Narrator Mode is not checked.

That will remove the speech output as well as the narrating feature.

Reboot your TV

A common way to fix voice issues is to reset or refresh the settings of your device. This can be done by rebooting, which you probably have already tried! If not, try it out!

Press the power button for several seconds until the screen turns off then back on. Now wait about 10-15 minutes and see if the symptoms go away!

This will clear all internal memory files as well as software caches so make sure to save anything before doing this.

Confirm your TV is on

A lot of people begin listening for voiceovers while their TVs are already turned on! This can sometimes be an annoying surprise as there’s no indication that it would be using voice over.

If you notice a strange sound or voice coming from your television, turn off “Voice Recognition” first by accessing the settings menu. Then, refresh the device to make sure it has stopped searching through the internet for speech.

Record your voiceover

If you feel that your voice is not clearly audible, then try recording yourself as you would normally speak for a minute or two. Once recorded, you can use an app like GarageBand to edit and enhance the quality of the audio file.

By editing and enhancing the qualities of the recording, such as volume, tone, and speed, you can make it more clear and powerful.

Publish your video

Now that you have finished recording your voiceover, it is time to publish your video! When publishing, make sure you pick a format that is appropriate for your video.

You can choose between setting your video as a movie or creating a new project under YouTube. If you go into the latter, you will need to specify if you want it to be an intro, outro, or both.

After that, you will need to decide whether you would like it to automatically sync with your phone or not. You also get the option of adding special effects and music, but these are advanced settings.

Submit your video to YouTube

The next step is to upload your video onto a platform that has free voiceovers, such as YouTube. You can also add some keywords and tags for better exposure.

Once you have uploaded your video, go through all of the settings for it! There are several different features in the setting menu which include tone, speed, volume, and even VO (voice over) where you can turn off yours if you want.

You can easily switch them back on if you ever need to use one! This is very important to note as many people unknowingly disable their own VO while recording videos.

Thank you!

There’s a setting called Speaker Test that allows your phone or device to test how well it works with headphones, earbuds, or a speaker. You can find this under Settings > Speech & Audio > Device Profiles.

You can also turn off voice recognition here as well! This is helpful if you have trouble finding what you want to say due to bad speech to text accuracy.

Try turning these settings down first before trying to improve them though, because some of those features are pretty expensive to run.
