How To Unfollow Page On Facebook?

Unfollowing a page or account on Facebook has become a pretty big deal as of late. With the rise in social media stardom, people have started to become very invested in their followers and who follows them.

Many accounts have turned unfollowing someone into a game, giving people points for each person they follow that the page follows back.

By making it seem like a competition, it makes people feel like they need to keep up with the flow or lose followers.

Unfollowing a page on Facebook can get kind of messy, so we are going to tell you how to do it quickly and easily right here!

You can either do a universal unfollow for your personal Facebook profile or for a group or page.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the page

Once you are on the page, you will be taken to the page’s feed. Here, you can like and share posts, just like you can on your own profile.

To unfollow the page, all you have to do is click the three dots in the upper right corner of the page and then Unfollow Page. It’s that easy!

How to Remove a Page From Your Business Account

If you have a personal Facebook account and a business account, then this tip is great for you! You likely already have a personal Facebook account, so why not use it to promote your business account?

By removing your personal account from your business account, you can save yourself some trouble. If someone tags your business account in an advertisement or post, then people on your personal account will see it. You do not want that!

To remove yourself from the business account, go to Settings > Account Settings > Manage Account > Switch to Personal Account.

Click on “Unfollow page”

Once you are on the page’s page, you will be on the page’s main menu. Here, you will see a small bar at the top of the screen with three buttons: “following,” “unfollow,” and “manage.”

To unfollow the page, click on the “unfollow” button. A drop-down menu will appear where you can choose whether to unfollow immediately or scheduled.

Immediate unfollowing removes you as a follower immediately, and notifications from this page will no longer appear in your feed.

Scheduling unfollowing puts a buffer between your profile and this page so that you can slowly disconnect from each other. You can choose how many days or weeks for the schedule.

Click on “Yes, I’m sure”

Once you have completed the steps, you will be asked to confirm that you want to unfollow the page. Click “Yes, I’m sure” to finalize your unfollow.

If you are certain that you want to unfollow the page, then click on the red “Unfollow” button. This will take you to the page’s profile, where you can check out your new status as a follower of the page.

It can be hard to decide whether or not to unfollow a page on Facebook. Some people choose to do it because they are not interested in what the page posts. Others do it because they are too busy to manage their news feed and need to cut down on some pages.

The page will now be unfollowed

Once you have clicked the unfollow button, the page will be unfollowed. You will no longer get notifications or see posts from this page on your timeline.

If you want to follow the page again, you can do so by searching for the page and clicking follow. The page will also appear in your lists of pages followed.

You can also access your profile settings to manage who can post on your timeline, including pages. This is a good way to prevent someone else from posting on your timeline.

Repeat these steps for any other pages you want to unfollow

Once you have unfollowed your first page, you can go back to your Facebook main menu and choose Settings > Accounts > Social Media.

Here you can choose which accounts you want to use to find new pages to like. You can also unfollow the account that helps find new pages by choosing the drop-down and clicking Unfollow Account.

If you do not see this option, then you are already following the account that helps find new pages to like. This may be because you once used this account to find new pages and liked them, but no longer want to follow them so you chose to unfollow the account.

You can also go to the page itself and click the gear icon then select Unfollow Page and confirm your choice.
