Ph 7.4 is the top secret code name for a highly toxic intermediate compound called cobalt tetroxide (Co2+3). This compound is found in high concentrations in some rocks, where it has been active for millions of years.
Co2+3 is an essential part of all life forms, including humans. It plays an important role in the process of energy conversion, helping humans and other organisms use sunlight to fuel their cells.
However, because it is so hard to detect, its function has not been fully mapped out. As a result, we do not know how much Co2+3 we need or whether we need any at all.

A low value of hydrogen ion concentration means your blood is mostly water. This is good! Your body needs enough water to stay hydrated, keeps you feeling full, and ensures your skin and organs are functioning properly.
The way this kit measures H2Co3 depends on the manufacturer. Some use a measuring pipette instead, which requires different equipment.

Understand the concept
