DFN like: The stand feature on this TV is Dolby Digital Plus which helps make sure your display does not rotate while watching programmatic content such as sports events or programmatic content with moving pictures, specifically during transitions such as during commercial breaks or after the programmatic content ends.
Decent sound

Cheap for a smart TV
If you are looking for a cheap smart tv to use, the vizio d43fx-f4 is a good choice. This tv has an award-winning feature: its smart capabilities. You will be able to control your electronics and TV with your smartphone or computer!
This tv is not intended as a gaming device, so you will need to take that into account when looking at televisions. However, this tv is not perfect; it does have some limitations when it comes to video playing and scaling. These limitations can be bypassed, but might cost you some quality of experience in doing so.
In summary, the d43fx-f4 is a great cheap smart television that has some great features.
Limited inputs
If you are buying the Vizio 43-inch Class FHD (1080p) Smart LED TV 2019 for a home where there are minimal connections, then you will be disappointed. This TV only has a composite video input, a component video input, and a HDMI output.
The composite and component inputs can both be connected to a TV with a straight-up cable, but the HDMI output requires an accessory called a HDMI to DVI converter. This is rare as most TVs have it built in.
Component and DisplayPort outputs are also limited to just one per tv, making it difficult to connect multiple devices at once. These may not be necessary with today’s tech, but we would recommend having them if available.

Not HDR compatible

But with the release of the Vizio VDA-43 and VDA50 Series TVs, both 49- and 53-inch models, consumers will finally be able to find an HDR compatible 43- and 50-inch TV.
Poor remote layout
The Vizio 43-inch Class FHD (1080p) Smart Led Tv is a great tv if you are looking for a little more advanced tv. It has a good remote layout and offers several ways to navigate the tv and app.
The top row of keys includes the power button, next screen switch, back button, and select key. The middle row of keys includes the on/off button, input selection buttons, zoom/focus feature, and HDMI/playback switch. The last row of keys include the ethernet/ WiFi switch and connection detail key.
You will have some difficulty finding some of these keys as they are hidden under other parts of the tv. This can be annoying when trying to access them during setup or when the tv is missing a key.
Unintuitive interface
While the 43-inch Vizio smart tv is sleek, there are some elements of the interface that are very unintuitive.
For example, while browsing tv apps, you must press the center button twice in a row to go to a specific section of the app. This is done by scrolling down to the left or right side of the app and then clicking on a link or entering an address or phone number.
Once you do that, you will be taken to your account-based tv guide, where you can search for shows and recordings based on what network they’re on, what channel they are on, and which show they’re on right now.
