When a patient lies on their abdomen with their back straight, the floor of the bed should be level with the patients feet. This is to prevent pressure on either lower or upper body.
The bed is also set up so that the top of the mattress islevel with the ceiling. This prevents pressure on both sides of the head as you sleep.
Lastly, when getting out of the bed, there should be enough clearance to do so without tripping over anything. This includes getting out of bed and walking through your house or out to your patio or backyard.
These settings are important to keep in mind as you prepare for Your Big Metabolic Event. You do not have to stay in these exact conditions for this event to count. There are times when people change these settings to meet their needs.
How does it work?

The circular path is measured in feet when the test mass is mounted on the riser. When the platform is adjusted to the specified height, the test mass reaches its target depth in the platform.
When the platform is lowered, then increased, the same process is done with a slightly different sequence of steps. This allows you to keep track of your test mass as it changes in volume as it sits on its riser.
By having this feature, this product helps track body fat percentage and strength due to how accurate it can be. It also has potential for use in medical diagnosis and treatment as an indicator for client health and progress.
This feature also makes this product suitable for use by individuals with limited mobility or who need assistance standing or walking on their own.
Does it change the mass of the object?

If the test-mass riser does not change the mass of the object, it does not remove sufficient space for the object to pass through. This can be a problem if you need more space to put an item in!
In order for the test-mass riser to work, it must be placed on the platform so that there is enough space for an object to pass through. If there is not enough space for an object to pass through, then it will not be registered as having been placed on the riser.
In order for an item to be registered as having been placed on the test-mass riser, it must have a clearance of at least 6 inches between it and any other item on the riser.
What does it mean for the object to have a greater mass?

When a person sits in a chair, the chair has a greater mass. When an individual walks up a flight of stairs, the stairs have a greater mass.
When an employee sits at their desk for hours, the desk has a greater mass. When someone walks down the street, the person is carrying a lot of stuff with them.
This is true when we talk about our bodies as well. We can gain muscle and lose fat over time, but we are still controlling how much we put out physically.
Gaining muscle and loosing fat are things we do on our body, not on our conscious levels. This is why it is so important to manage our weight and strength over time to maintain our health and productivity.
What does it mean for the object to have a lesser mass?

When a person sits down on the stool, their weight pulls the back of the stool against the ground. This creates a circular path that the person sits in.
The mass of the human body pulls in this circular path, creating a greater or lesser mass on each side. This is similar to when an athlete sits on the platform.
When an athlete sits on the platform, they must adjust the test-mass riser along the length of it to have a greater or lesser mass on each side. The same can be done when an aspiring trainer stands onthe bench-of-mass.
This article talks about how to change the test-mass riser for different exercises, such as toe-and-ball raises, bicep curls, and knee lifts.
Why do you need to adjust the test-mass riser along the platform?

When you have a piece of wood that is 10 inches long, your test-mass riser must be 5 inches wide to accommodate the 10-inch length of wood. When you have a piece of glass that is 10 inches long, your test-mass riser must be 5 inches wide to accommodate the length of glass.
You can change the thickness of the riser by moving it along the platform. Just make sure you do it in a safe way so you do not break anything!
Moving the mass up or down requires changing how thick your platform is. A good rule of thumb is to move the mass up by one thickness of platform.
What is the effect of adjusting the test-mass riser along the platform?

When the platform is at its widest, the mass of the nail is more concentrated. This puts more force on the ring. When the platform is at its smallest, the force on the ring is less and therefore less pressure on the nail.
Therefore, when changing from a broad to a narrow platform, you must reduce how hard you press on the riser to allow for more nail growth.
To change from a narrow to a broad platform, press harder! You will look and feel better for it. To prevent any pain or fragility issues, use very little pressure or take your time adjusting to the change in riser.
Another tip is to keep your own nails longer than usual when changing platforms.
What are some applications of this device?

The circular test mass riser is a great way to measure the force of your client’s feet on the ground as they walk. This device can be adjusted to have a smaller or larger radius of the foot platform.
This feature is not available on all devices! ?>
Having this feature gives your client a second (and more accurate) means of measuring their height. It can also be used in conjunction with other height measuring techniques such as the wall shoe or ones that use the body as a measure like the bio-ball.
How do you make a test-mass riser?

The answer is by cutting a circle out of a solid piece of wood. You do this by tracing the outline of the riser onto the platform, then cutting along the line.
You then sand down the lines to create a smooth surface for your mass to sit on. This can be done very easily with some fine-grain sandpaper and some guidance.
