Can’t See Comments On Facebook?

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about how Facebook has been compromising user privacy. There have been countless articles and news stories about Facebook apologizing for misusing user data and for making it difficult for users to access and manage their privacy settings.

As a result, many people have begun to worry about what people can see on their profiles and if they are protected from stalkers or estranged family members.

However, an even bigger concern is that people cannot see your comments on Facebook unless they are logged into Facebook. This makes it difficult for other websites or platforms to pull information on you or your views.

This feature is great for protecting your privacy, but how do you disable it? Fortunately, it’s easy and quick to do so! All you need to do is log out of your account and then enter in an anonymous account to make comments.

Check that the comment thread is not too long

If the thread is too long, it can be hard to read every comment below your post. This can be because people post very long comments, or because lots of people leave lots of comments.

People will have to scroll down to see all the comments, which can be annoying for them and cause confusion. People may even miss conversations between their own comments and others!

Make sure you keep your conversations on point and brief so that everyone can understand what you are saying and contribute to the conversation.

Shortening the length of your posts will also help prevent this issue. By keeping your posts short and to the point, people will not have a hard time comprehending what you are saying. This will prevent unnecessary confusion or argument.

Try using a different web browser

If comments on Facebook are blocking your view of the page, try using a different web browser to see the comments. You can use a standard browser like Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Safari to see the comments.

If you have an app version of Facebook instead of a mobile website version, try using the Android or iOS browser to view the comments. This is not tested for compatibility with Facebook features, but it may work.

If you do not have any of these browsers installed on your device, try accessing the mobile website version of Facebook instead of the App Store version. The mobile website version seems to work just as well and has all of the features that you need.

Check out your privacy settings first before doing this to make sure that you are not making it more difficult for yourself by doing this.

Check your internet connection

It’s easy to assume that the issue is on Facebook’s end, but if you are unable to see comments on Facebook, the problem may be with your internet connection.

If you have a strong connection and other apps are working fine, then the problem is most likely on Facebook’s end. If you have a weak connection or no connection at all, then it is most likely an issue with your internet service.

If you have other devices connected to the same network and they do not have problems accessing Facebook, then the issue is with your device and not your network.

Check your internet speed to make sure that it is not being throttled due to limited bandwidth. If it is not, then there may be an issue with your device itself.

Check your Facebook settings

If you have checked your Facebook settings and do not want to see comments, then you need to do some more digging.

First, go to your settings and make sure that an option called “See Comments” is not checked. This makes it so that you will not see comments on your posts or photos.

Then, go to your account and click on “Account Settings” then click on “Blocking” under Account Security. Here you can type in a user name or page and find all of the people or pages you have blocked. You can also click on the blue button that says “Add Blocking” which brings you to a page where you can add a new user or page to your blocking list.

After this, go back to the Account Settings page and click on the last button that says “Deactivate Accounts”. This removes your security features which allows anyone to look up your profile.

Report the problem to Facebook

If you have tried all of the steps above and still cannot see comments on Facebook, you can report the bug to Facebook. You can do this by going to the Facebook Help Center and filing a bug report.

By reporting the issue, other users may be able to resolve it. While you can still use Facebook without being able to see comments, it may be frustrating for some people.

Facebook will likely fix this issue soon, so stay tuned! In the meantime, continue to try all of the steps above if you are still unable to see comments.

Try using the Facebook mobile app

If you are having trouble seeing comments on Facebook, try using the Facebook mobile app. Many people have said that they can see all comments in the app, whereas on the desktop version, some comments do not show up.

It is easy to download the app- just look for it in your phone’s app store. If you do not have a smartphone, get one just for this purpose- it will be worth it!

Unfortunately, this trick does not work for private messages. If you only want to be able to see comments on your profile page, then the mobile app will help with that.

Delete your cookies and browsing history on your computer

If you are having trouble seeing comments on Facebook because of issues with your account, the best way to fix this is to delete your cookies and browsing history on your computer.

Cookies are tiny files that store information about you while you browse. They can be used by websites to remember things about you, such as login information or what posts you like.

As mentioned before, Facebook uses cookies to remember if you’re logged in or not. If you’re having trouble seeing comments because of this, then deleting your cookies will solve the problem.

Browsing history refers to the list of websites you’ve visited recently. If you’re having trouble seeing comments on Facebook because of this bug, then clearing your browsing history will help.

Both of these can be easily deleted by clicking on different buttons on your browser.

Change your browser settings to allow cookies from facebook.com

If you are having trouble seeing comments on Facebook, the first thing you should do is check your browser settings.

By default, most browsers will not load content from external domains unless you change the settings. Facebook comments are hosted on a domain other than Facebook itself.

To see comments, you need to allow your browser to load content from facebook.com in the settings. Follow the steps for your specific browser below to do this.

Chrome: Navigate to Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Privacy & Security > Content Settings > Cookies and Data Permissions and select Allowed Sites and Facebook.com.

Firefox: Navigate to Privacy & Security > Site Preferences > Cookies and select Accept Every Time You Visit A Site. Then, go back to the main site preferences and click Remember Selection; this will remember the setting you just set so that you do not have to set it every time you log in to Facebook.com.
