Posting comments on other people’s posts is a great way to engage with your Facebook friends. You can post comments on photos, live videos, status updates, and even Messenger conversations.
Posting a comment on a photo or video is an easy way to start a conversation. If you see a photo or video that you want to respond to, then you can post a comment with your own photo or video as well as your thoughts or feelings about the original post.
You can do the same when someone posts a story or update. You can respond to their news with your own thoughts or advice. If they posted something funny, you can also tell them they are funny in a nice comment.
Making personal comments on Facebook is a way to show that person that you care about them.

Posting comments on other people’s posts is a great way to engage with your Facebook friends. You can do this by liking other people’s posts, commenting on their posts, or posting your own content that invites comments.
Posting a comment on someone else’s post takes just a few seconds, and can be done from either the Facebook mobile app or via the Facebook web interface. This article will show you how to post a comment on someone else’s post via the web interface.
You can add emojis and connect to your account to access additional features, such as an automatic like or comment when you connect your account to Facebook Live. These are only for use on the live feature, however- not for commenting!
Hopefully you learned how to post a comment on Facebook and tried it out! Let us know in the comments if this article helped you out.
Click “new comment”
Next, you will click the big blue comment button. This will bring you to a new post screen where you can write your comment.
Here, you can write a short comment or write an extended comment depending on how much you want to say. You can also add emojis and react buttons here.
The pre-written comments are easy to recognize as they are in a gray box and have a little down arrow next to them. You can choose one of these if you do not have enough time to write your own comment.
To post your comment, click the green arrow at the bottom of the screen.
Type your comment and press enter
Now it is time to post your comment! Press the enter key to start a new line and then press the enter key again. This will create a line break and add space between your comment and the Facebook comment field.
Facebook will autofill a space for you to add a link or url, so make sure you double check that it is not a website you do not want to advertise. You can also add links and urls here.
It will also autofill the full name field with your full name, so make sure that is what you want posted. The same goes for the city and state fields- make sure they are correct!
Once you are satisfied with your comment, click on the gray arrow next to submit post and then confirm your post.
If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in
If you are logged into your Facebook account, you can add a comment to any post or photo. You can also add your own post to the Facebook network!
To do this, you will need to be on the Facebook website instead of the app. The comments section is available on the mobile app, however.
When you navigate to your profile or to a friend’s profile, you will see a Post button at the top of the page. Click on this button and it will take you to the Create Post section where you can write your comment.
Once you have posted your comment, it will appear in both your profile and in the profile of the person who posted the content. Your friends will be able to see your comment on their screen.
Once you are logged in, your comment will be posted!
Commenting on someone’s post is a great way to connect with people. You can comment on friends’ posts, friend’s comments, or anyone’s posts.
Do not comment on ads or Pages as this may get you blocked by Facebook. Once you comment on someone else’s post, they can see that you are a person and not a Page or ad.
It is nice to see how many people connect via Facebook comments! It seems like there is an online community that thrives off of posting and commenting on each other’s stuff.
If you are having trouble figuring out how to post a comment, try logging out and trying to post a comment again while logged out. This will let you know if it is something you are doing wrong or if it is something Facebook needs to fix.
