Planer fans are a common backyard mechanical marvel. They use them as models, cutters, or screwdriver sets for electronics and engineering.
Planer fans create plans and designs to fit their planer, but many also have help in designing one. Planers can be costly to purchase and own, which is why having a second one for backup is important.
Their creativity does not stop with designing their own PFDSs. Many purchase free plans that are created by the community. These free plans can be very useful in teaching users how to use a planer properly, how to set it up, and how to use it.
Put your PFDS in a bowl
This is the best place to put your p-bands while you are out on your boat. You can do this in a few different ways.
The first way is to put them in a backpack and leave it at the marina or boating store where you purchase your boat. The second way is to put them in a bowl or dishultan and leave that alone.
Either way, while out on the water, if you need to check your band, simply take it out of the bowl and check your band. It does not have to be kept inside the same location either. You can move it from time to time as needed.
Many people keep their bands in their pockets while out on the water so they can easily check them occasionally.
Put your PFDS in your shirt
This is the most obvious method for storing your pfds. While theres no specific length of time your pfds should stay sharp, the best way to tell if yours have sharp blades is by checking to see if they are tucked in a shirt or jacket.
If so, you have placed them in a place that will keep them from being wet or warm. A good place to do this is under your arm while you are swimming or boating.
If you don’t have a shirt with a shirt-sleeve effect, then the next best way to put your blades in is to sit them on top of a folded up newspaper. This way, they will be somewhat protected from rain and water damage, but will still be able to see them.
Lastly, keep your knives sheathed at all times.
Bring another shirt with you
It is recommended that you have a second shirt or two with you when you put PFDS in for the first time. This helps ensure you do not have to go back and forth to refresh your memory of how to put it in and out, etc.
There are several reasons for having a second shirt with you. You may need to take your shirt off or wash it while putting the dye in, etc. You may also need to return the shirt for final finishing or if the dye runs out.
Having two shirts allows you to easily hang one up and the other.
Use a napkin
When you’re enjoying yourself in the water, or even just floating around in the water doing yoga or some other exercise, keep a hand on your neck to keep your top from sliding down.
This is important so you do not have to remove it to use the bathroom. The same goes for any swimsuit that you are not wearing under this.
Keep a hand on your chest to make sure it does not drop out of the shirt. If you are wearing a stretchy shirt, then only worry about the waist and hips area. If you are wearing aSupportive shirt, then only worry about those areas that may be exposed.
Use a hand drying rack if you need to take care of any wet hands while swimming or boating.
Use a paper towel
Instead of using a cloth or towel to wipe your hands and face, you can use a paper towel. This helps save space in your boat, keeps water from streaming down your arms, and prevents you from having to reach down to wipe up any spilled powder.
When you are out on the water and need to take a break, simply return the paper towel to its wrapper and wrap another breaks minutes before an unexpected shower or rain. When it is time to dry off, just wrap another one of these up and give them a wash.
This also works great when traveling. You can put one in your carry-on bag so that you can easily give it a quick shake before each activity so that it is fully prepared.
Fold it neatly and place it on the table
This is a very important part of using foldable paddles. When using a tandem tandem paddle, you need to fold the second paddle in half and place it on the table alongside the first one. This is due to the length of the tandem paddle!
By doing this, you can slide your finger underneath the end and pull it up onto the table. You then wait until both paddles are dry before using them.
Folding your tandem twin paddle requires some practice, so do not worry if you have some difficulty with this at first. Just keep trying and practicing on smaller pieces of waterwork until you get it!

Do not wear one at all
While portapeak is very helpful while boating, it is not necessary to use when out on the water. portapeak does not keep you cool and safe while sailing, dancing, or enjoying the water.
While it is nice to have around for emergencies, most professional dance instructors do not recommend it. It is too noticeable and would be noticed much quicker by someone else passing by than a dedicated dance instructor would.
Additionally, with the new height restrictions for dances being implemented, there will be a large increase in people looking for places to go on short notice.
